We’re so thankful to everyone at NYC Health + Hospitals who has used Curb to get to and from work. We know that every trip that we provide through Curb is so critical to helping get all essential workers to the front line hospitals across the city. At the same time by taking taxis, you are supporting the hard-working taxi drivers of NYC. Each and every day, we see how you work tirelessly to help and care for our community. When our team, taxis drivers, dispatchers, managers, doctors, nurses and everyone in between work together, we can accomplish great things that surpass all of our expectations.

As life gradually begins to return to a semblance of “normal,” we hope that you will keep supporting our community by taking taxis and doing what you can for the drivers who work day and night, 24/7 to help New Yorkers get around every single day.

For those of you who would like to use the Curb app to book trips outside of the NYC Health + Hospital program, we have added a discount to your Curb app account for the next ride you book with your personal credit card (not applicable for Pair & Pay rides).  To use the discount, just make sure to add a personal payment method to your Curb Account. New York City Support

I accidentally created an account with my personal email

Please note that we have already created accounts for healthcare workers, using your NYCHH email address. Most of you who are having trouble appear to have created new accounts by mistake using your personal email addresses, instead of logging into an account that had already been created for you. If you have mistakenly created an account with a personal email address, please do the following to deactivate that account:

1. Logged into the personal account that you have recently created, go to the app’s Settings menu (the 3 bars in the top right corner), and select “Profile.”
2. Change the area code in your mobile number to 999 and press “Save.”
3. Log out of the app. Once you have logged out, please follow the initial instructions that you can review here.

I already have a Curb account that I want to use

If you already had a Curb account that for personal use before March 2020 and you would like to take part in this program, you may remove your mobile number from your personal account and add it to the account that was created for you using your NYCHH email. If for some reason you should prefer to keep your personal email address, please click the button below to fill out and send your account information to us so we can update your account.

How do I activate my auto-created NYCHH Curb account

1. Press “Sign In.” Please be sure to press “Sign In” and not “Sign Up,” as an account has already been created for you. Please do not create a new account. Once you have pressed “Sign In,” press “Reset Password.” Enter your work email address, and press “Reset Password.” You will then receive an email with instructions to reset your password.

2. Once you have created a new password, please Sign In to the app, using your work email and your newly created password. Go to the app’s Settings menu (the 3 bars in the top right corner), and select “Profile.”

3. Add your mobile number to your profile and press “Save.” You will then receive a text message to verify your number. Respond to the text with ONLY the word CURB. Your account will then be available for use.
